Eight favorite Malayalam movies of Kamal Haasan



  Kamal Haasan is one of the biggest stars in Tamil. He is also a very popular actor among Malayalees. Kamal Haasan, who has done many films in Malayalam in his early days, once said which were his eight favorite Malayalam films.(1)Thaniyavarthanam - Thaniyavarthanam is a Mammootty film directed by sibi Malail. Lohit Das wrote the script for the first time for the movie released in 1987. 'This is a film about mental health and how responsibility for it lies in everyone's hands. It doesn't directly talk about superstitions, but it will make you very angry in the end. My friend Mammootty gave a great performance in the film.(2) Chemmeen - Chemmeen is a 1965 film directed by Ramu Karyat, based on Thakazhi Sivasankarapillai's novel Chemmeen. Kamal Haasan had this to say about the film, "Chemeen came as a Malayalam film, but it is a love story that has grown into a national film, the pride of South India. Music by Salil Choudhary, Editing by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Direction by Ramu Karyat. Today it seems like a simple film. But it is a wonderful one. (3) Swapnadanam - K.G. Swapnatanam is a 1975 movie directed by George. KG Directed by George for the first time, Rani Chandra and Dr. Mohandas, M.G. Soman, Mallika, P.K. Venukuttan Nair played the main characters. Kamal Haasan described the film as a psychodrama. (4) Kodiyetam - The movie Kodiyetam won the National Award for Best Actor for actor Bharat Gopi and the State Film Award for Best Director for Adoor Gopalakrishnan. The movie was written and directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan and released in 1997. The actor rated the film as one of Adoor's best films.

   (5)  Nirmalyam - Nirmalyam is a movie written and directed by MT Vasudevan Nair. Released in 1973, the film won national and state awards for best film.'What a movie! I watched this movie for two consecutive days. I don't think Malayalam cinema will dare to make such a movie again. The film revolves around a neglected temple and the people who depend on it. (6)Anubhavam Panchakkal - Anubhavam Panchakkal is a 1971 film based on the novel by Thakazhi. K.S. Directed by Sethumadhavan, the film is one of Ulakanayakaner's favorite films. 'This is a story set in a prison. It featured two leading stars of Malayalam cinema. It was a very suspenseful film and fascinating in its way of exploring the human psyche(7) Ee Naad - Ee Naad is a movie born in the collaboration of Mammootty IV Shashi. The political film Ee Naad was released in 1982. Kamal Haasan said that this is IV Shashi's best film.(8)Namukku Parkkan Munthirithoppukal - Namukku Parkkan Munthirithoppukal is one of Mohanlal's hit movies. P. The film written and directed by Padmarajan was released in 1986. Kamal Haasan said about the film that he felt jealous after watching the film and that it is a simple but good film.
